I can't believe that the 3-Point Contest, Skills Competition and Shooting Stars Contest are all more exciting and entertaining than the Slam Dunk Contest. While last night's show had decent theatrics and creativity, it lacked pride and heart. I blame the league, for failing to educate the youngsters of the great tradition of competition this sport once had. Baseball and hockey players are always showing their admiration and respect for the predecessors. Current NBA young guns probably only know Kenny Smith from TNT. And how about breaking a sweat, guys?
