I Fixed The Super Bowl

Every year the half time show gets berated. Young people complain about the relevance of the artists and music fans find the performance lack-luster.
So here's what you do:
Battles.
You know, like mash-ups. Remember those? But done well. Let two artists go toe-to-toe. Instead of just Madonna, why not Madonna vs Daft Punk? You can see it, can't you? Madonna would sing a verse from one of her hits and then Daft Punk fires back with some of their beats. Then back and forth, again and again. Then it all culminates in an awesome mashup? What else? How about Jay-Z vs Al Green? Green Day vs Aerosmith. The Roots vs The Rolling Stones. John Mayer vs Paul McCartney. I can do this all day.
I don't necessarily love all of these artists, but you'd be damn sure I'd tune in.
