Why do they keep giving Jennifer Anniston comedic roles? She's not particularly funny, but she keeps getting great parts opposite funny people. Sure, Office Space was great, but her role was minimal. And some people do consider Friends to be a sitcom. These were funny things that happened despite her, not because of her.
But every year she's in at least two rom-coms. But why? Her movies never do particularly well. Her performances are never very memorable. But every year she gets a GQ spread where they deem her the funniest gal in hollywood. Do people give her parts out of pity? Does it have something to do with Angelina? Is she just that damn charming?
What could it be?
