Cool maps.
All for free, right?
For over 10 years, they've been amassing tons of info on us. What we like. What we do. How much we make. All being catalogued so they can do what they do best; serve us adds. And so far, the trade-off has been somewhat fair. Good services for random info.
But now they want to know what we look at. What we're doing. The balance has shifted. The company that once promised to, "Do no evil" now has it's sights on another part of our lives. I'm not trying to be all conspiracy theory-guy, and I still think Google does a lot of cool things (like host this blog), but it's interesting to watch this company, growing so quickly and moving into various fields.
This guy puts it well.
