Apple Stickers

Remember when they meant something? When the only way to get one was to spend $1400 on a computer? Sure, some thought it was a symbol of gullibility; that only a sucker would spend that much on a computer. But we knew better. We realized that we had found something of value. Something special. Something different. We displayed those stickers with a sense of pride and ownership.
Then they packaged them with the iPods, and eventually the iPhones and iPads. Soon everyone had a few stickers. They became fashionable. They also became less special.
Too bad Apple didn't differentiate bye stickers to reflect the product. What if the $3000 Mac Pro you bought came with a chrome sticker? Or the iPad could ship with that new colored apple their using.
This isn't aimed at recreating the class difference Apple was once associated with. It's awesome that so many more people get to use these "insanely great" products. But it would be neat to create new sub-groups in this community.
