Tron

The most definitive statement I can make about Tron: Legacy, is that it is the sequel to Tron. Absolutely. 100%. Nothing more, nothing less. The visuals, design, and soundtrack were great, just as they were in the first one, some 28 years ago. But it was also kind of dry and slow and 30 minutes too long, also just like the first one.

I haven't seen many movies starring Jeff Bridges, so I am just going to assume all of his characters sound like The Dude.

It's interesting how Disney is pretending that this movie isn't a sequel. I get the feeling that most people under 18 don't even realize there was an original. Good luck proving them wrong, Disney has pulled copies of Tron from retailers. I'm guessing that they are worried that people will rent the first one and be put-off by the now antiquated visuals.

But forget all that stuff. If you liked Tron, go see Tron: Legacy. It's the sequel.
