My iPhone does a lot, and is always with me.
My iPad does even more, and is often with me.
My MacBook Air does much more, and is sometimes with me.
My Mac Mini does the most, but is never with me.
Right now, the Venn Diagram of our electronic lives is becoming more cluttered. The devices meant to make our lives easier now require greater management and corralling. The next 5 years have to be about simplification. Our home PC will be mirrored to our TV, tablet and phone. All will run a slightly different, streamlined interface, but all will be equally capable.
