Like This!

Perhaps the saddest development in corporate advertising in recent years is the "Like" button. Instead of trying to impress you with neat products or creative campaigns, companies have resorted to asking you to be their friend. Neediness is not an attractive quality. I don't want anything to do with an entity that considers me a data point instead of a customer. Can you imagine the conversation in the board room? "What if we just ask the customers to like us?" Draper wouldn't stand for that shit.
